Brandon Hempleman: "I'm the guy they bring in to lose. I won't lose."
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3Z9_BjRzpc&w=853&h=480]Starting in mixed martial arts at the age of three, Brandon Hempleman has made his way to the co-main event at World Series of Fighting 4. "Trained by my dad, did gymnastics. When I got a little older I found a jits school in Twin Falls, Idaho where I'm from and just went from there." remarked Hempleman.
When asked about his thoughts on joining the World Series of Fighting he commented, "It's big exposure. That's why I wanted to get in with them. I expect them to grow at a pretty fast rate and I want to grow with them." After being brought in to lose with numerous promotions, Hempleman has never done what they have wanted. He has amassed an 9-1 record as a professional.
Hempleman will be facing the highly touted Marlon Moraes, who shocked MMA fans when he outpointed UFC veteran Miguel Torres and knocked out Tyson Nam. "I think I'm going to have the speed advantage. He might have a little bit of size on me but, we're going to go in there and bang it out expecting it to be a brawl."
"World Series of Fighting 4: Spong vs DeAnda" takes place Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA.
