Grapplers Give Las Vegas Fans a Show at the Triumph United ProAm

During the Fight Summit mixed martial arts business conference, no gi grappling fans were treated to an awesome eight man tournament featuring some of Las Vegas' best grapplers. Notable competitors included UFC and Pride veteran Frank Trigg, local amateur stand out Jeff Roman, OSU alum Kyle Griffin, and Casey Milken to name a few. The highlights of the event featured Frank Trigg's fifty four minute match that ended with a knee bar finish for "Twinkle Toes" and the amazing athleticism displayed by Jeff Roman and Kyle Griffin. Kyle was able to lock up a guillotine forcing Roman to tap.

The finals saw Trigg and Griffin display a leg lock clinic in both offense and defense. Through the coaching of his brother Tyson Griffin and world class coach Robert Drysdale, Kyle was able to tap Frank Trigg with a leg lock to win the tournament.
